How will the hair look after the dye is gone?

I've lot of grey (or rather white) hair. I would like to dye it black. I am worried how will my hair look after the dye is gone. I am an Indian living in Europe. In India in most of the cases, the hair would turn brown. I mean, when the black dye is gone, the hair wouldnt look grey again, instead it will stay bright brown for a couple of months. Hence you are forced to dye again (nobody wants to have bright brown hair right?). Is it the same with popular brands here in europe, like L'oreal or so??? Thanks for any advice.

Your roots will be your natural color. The rest will be whatever color you die it if you use a permanant die.

white hair looks good for me, don't dye it.

My mother started to go grey quite young but you would never know cause she too dyes it all the time, she trys a range of colours to from light brown, dark brown and even black. She has it professionally done and it never seems to fade and she only has to redye when the regrowth starts to show, so it really depends on the quality of the product, so you might want to ask your local hairdresser and they can recommend a quality dye even give you a decent price if you want to do it yourself.

when u apply hairdye the dye wont go from your hair, instead the hairs which grow from the root will be grey which u can't avoid so very frequently u might have to go for coloring . L'oreal is a good brand that any one can use it.
