Just wondering if the myth is true. I'm not old and this does not run in my family.

I want to take them out, but I'm afraid more will come.

No more white hairs will come out than you pull out. Pull one, one will grow back. Eventually, pulling the same hairs out will destroy the bulb and they'll stop growing back.
