Okay..i went to the hair dressers yesterday seen as my roots were very very bad. The women there said she could tint my hair blonde to being the natural blondeness out. (bareing in mind im already quite blonde) i asked her 3-4 times NOT to make my hair white blonde but to make it slightly more blonder then it was
she first tinted my roots and then the rest of my hair. After shes finished i want to cry.
my hair was WHITE blonde with strawberry blonde/ginger roots. Many people say its not that bad but looking in the mirror i went to burst into tears everytime. The hairdresser said she would sort it in 3 days time but i have to go shopping ect %26amp;%26amp; see my friends yet with hair like this i think i was die.
Does anyone have any ideas how to reduce the gingerness and what the hairdresser can do to my hair?!

hey i'm a hairdresser..
1) find a new hairdresser and get several opinions.
2) depending on if it was tint or bleached used depends on what can be done, if u bleach hair and u want it go darker, u have to usually put specific hair tones bk in the hair .i.e. if have brown hair ud need red tones put bk in, blonde hair - gold tones and then hair dyed again.
3)also...with lovely orangeness, usually an ash toner will need to put on the hair (ash has purple tones to it and purple neutrilises the orange)
4) Matrix do a shampoo called so silver - the shampoo is a voilet/purple coloured shampoo and it adds ash tones into the hair to help neutrilise gingerness (was a life saver for me cos i had colour correction - dark hair brought bk up to blonde and i went ginger lol and it really did work). in general the shampoo helps enhance blonde hair and grey hair but its good 4 stopping the brassiness.
just please dont try and do nething @ home with dodgy home kits as they dont always contain the right level of peroxide and also, home kits used on hair tht has had professional colours on it, can react and fazzle the hair - a wonderful thing called metalic salts.
hope this helps and good luck and dont 4get, if ur not happy tell the sylist, shop around and get several opinions!!

First of all, I wouldnt go back to her, as she clearly doesnt care what you really want and only what she wants to do. Find someone better, they should be able to fix your hair. I wouldnt try anything like home dye or anything yourself, because if its thats light already youll probably just damage your hair, and it might even fall out.

If I were you, I'd go find someone else. That hairdresser oviously doesn't care if you look bad or not. Maybe find a picture from the internet and print it out and show it to the new hairdresser.

ok first of all your hairdresser either wasnt fully qualified or else she just didnt know what she was doing. if you already have blonde hair and want it a little brighter she should've put the colour on the roots first and left it for about 20 mins and then check to see how much it had lifted. when the roots are almost to the colour you wanted only then should she put the colour on the ends of your hair for a few mins max because your ends were already blonde and it doesnt take long to lift blonde hair to a brighter shade. i wouldnt go back to that hairdresser and would look for a new hairdresser. when you find a new hairdresser if they suggest decolouring your hair or sometimes its called a bleach bath do not go with this idea as it can ruin your hair and is not very effective for blonde hair. your hair needs to be toned. also explain the story fully to your new hairdresser. you need to make sure that the next hairdresser does it properly because if its wrong again and need it to be fixed again your hair will become overprocessed. for a temporary fix until you can find a good hairdresser you could buy one of those semi permanent home colours to tone down your hair. try to find one that conditions the hair and will not damage your hair
