Another stupid question! If he has nappy hair tell him to get a boy perm(yes they do have it) or just a girl perm and a Flat Iron!

To get spikes just use gel.

Blow dry it, then use a flat iron or hot comb if u have one. Try some straightening serum or cream to avoid frizz and make it easier to work with. Spraying on a heat protectant is very important to prevent breakage, burning, etc. (spray before applying heat). Once is straight then u can spike it up - that wont be hard. Styling it without get (leaving it down) will be harder but a hair product can figure that.

Well Yes....it is possible........boy hair is just like girl hair treatable with all the same things

im black and i straigten my hair with a straigtner.......(flat iron) And it doesnt have to be expensive either a cheap ( flat iron) will work fine to! Im sure you have heard that expensive stuff work better then cheaper stuff not in this case....They work the same.....But while you are doing the hair......Apply grease or oils to his hair so it wont burn and those oils make the straigtner hotter so it makes the hair straigter......

for the best results..... tell him to get a perm...

ask someone that knows how to put one in to do it.......or go to the salon......although I must say, it's a lot cheaper to get one at walmart.

after he gets the perm....he might have to get it cut or trimmed like the they do.....in order to get the best results...

after that... there's plenty of spiking gels.....or even just regular gels that can give him a nice "white boy" look.

but don't use too much because gel can really dry out and damage black people's hair.......

moisture is very important.
