Why do some people call them "black" features and "white" features?

Why do some people call a broad nose, full lips and course hair "black" features and a straight nose, thin lips and straight hair "white" features?

It makes no sense because I've seen white people with so called "black" features and vice-versa and these people aren't mixed.

Why do some people call them "black" features and "white" features?

i am black and i do not have thick lips and i have a striaght nose- so let me ask- does that make me black with white features- no- people are ignorant and just keep finding degrading ways to seperate the two races.

Why do some people call them "black" features and "white" features?

az fellow monkeyz (white folkz too are monkeyz)

we tend to get the more "stronger" looking genetic make-up.

{it workz out}

Why do some people call them "black" features and "white" features?

I have seen "black" features on whites too. Those people are just ignorant. And are constantly trying to find ways to degrade and separate the two races.

Why do some people call them "black" features and "white" features?

Stereotypes.

Why do some people call them "black" features and "white" features?

On average (like if you took 100 blacks and 100 whites), most would have characteristics similar to one another. Lips, nose, eye color, etc. Not saying they will necessarily look alike. They will just have similar characteristics.

It makes sense. Of course there are deviations to everything. We're just talking about "generally."

Like Asians generally have slanted eyes, although you will find some with eyes more similar to another nationality.

Why do some people call them "black" features and "white" features?

They are talking about the biggest percentage of the population, though what you say is true. I have seen black with small noses and thin lips and vice-versa.

Why do some people call them "black" features and "white" features?

Its a harmless term used to describe attributes associated mostly with one race.

Like full lips are deemed black even though loads of Francs have full lips. Broad noses are also deem black although Scotts have very wide, bulbous noses.

Don't take offense. I don't think its meant to be hurtful.

Why do some people call them "black" features and "white" features?

Whites don't have black features. If you turned a black man skin to that of a European you can tell the person is really black. That's why. Think albino.

Why do some people call them "black" features and "white" features?

They're just stereotypes.
