Why do white people want orange skin?

In my opinion, just like black people look prettier when they don't bleach their skin/eyebrows/hair, whites look better when they leave their skin fair (or whatever natural tone it is). How could you possibly think orange skin is prettier than fair skin? I don't know about you, but I find Marilyn Monroe a lot more attractive than Paris Hilton. It especially ticks me off when redheads try to tan, but they just keep burning. Can't they take a hint that they were just meant to be fair? Redheads aren't supposed to be tan. Some white people can get a golden kind of touch from the natural sun which is fine, but anything other than the natural sun, especially spray-ons, are ridiculous. It's your choice, but if you think they make you look more attractive then you are sadly mistaken. Michael Jackson and that Oompa Loompa Paris are just two of the too many examples of what happens when people try to defy aesthetic nature.

I agree that fake looks, well, fake, and you always hear guys talk about wanting a natural beauty, right?

I agree, redheads shouldn't tan. Other people who look great with pale skin include those lovely "dark Irish" folk with the black hair and blue eyes...mmm tasty!

As for everyone else, the sunkissed look is cute, but I think the motto should be "sunkissed, not Sunkist!"

Fake spray ons are the worst....eww! But personally I like just a little color to my skin, as I look a little sickly when the winter's been too long. I know that a lot of people tan because they think they look slimmer, tans hide stretch marks somewhat, and also, if you are going to be wearing a lot of white (like in a bridal gown), a tan sets it off nicely. But too tan and you look like leather, and you'll likely get skin cancer.

Personally, I think diversity is beautiful, so why to dark-skinned folks want to be lighter, and light skinned people want to be darker? Let's just celebrate the way we were made!

Why do white people want orange skin?

too tan isnt nice looking but its not like we choose to be too white we just are im sry that u dont like it and its not tru rich people tanned to show off money but it is tru that pale people were known as rich and dark were poor they were dark because they had to work all day in the sun Report It

Why do white people want orange skin?

hmmm...i dunnno

Why do white people want orange skin?

Hey! You've got color...so you wouldn't understand! Lol!!! Seriously, I get where you are coming from, and I agree. ALOT of people overuse the tanning beds and sprays...lotions...what have you. The orange thing is definitely yucky, but I think in moderation a little color is great. Heck, I wish I had some about now. Love the oompa loompa Paris thing! Lmao!!!!

Why do white people want orange skin?

I'm so white that I glow in the dark, and I like it a lot better too than those that fake bake. I know that my chances to get skin cancer are less which makes me much more happy being pastey than to look like a lobster.

Why do white people want orange skin?

I think it's awesome that you are totally comfortable with your skin and you think that others look good in their natural skin. I guess, though, that not everybody is as confident as you and they have self-esteem issues. That's why the want to get darker, they think it's some kind of requirement for society.

Why do white people want orange skin?

society-we think itll make you look younger healthier and more attractive......but i dont like fake'n'bake(which gets u orange colored)that looks bad.but i burn a little out in the sun but it turns to tan and not the orangesh kind.....tru...pple shuld just accept it....but a little color looks good.....so you dont look like you came back from the dead

Why do white people want orange skin?

I agree with you completely. I think that a fair complexion is much prettier because it looks healthier on white women. I have friends who all got into the tanning craze years ago, their skin looks like leather now, and the wrinkles! My husband and Mom both call me a vampire because I hide from the sun, I don't want to encourage any more wrinkles than I already have and then there is skin cancer to be concerned with too. Besides, I'm happy with my complexion, even as pale as I am.

Why do white people want orange skin?

I DONT KNOW. SOME WANT A MORE EXOTIC LOOK. MAYBE THEY WANT TO LOOK AS IF THEY HAVE BEEN ON VACATION FOR A WEEK OR TWO. I AGREE EVERYTHING IN MODERATION. THE CAUSE OF THE ORANGE IS PICKING A PRODUCT THAT DOESN'T HAVE THE RIGHT PIGMENTS IN IT OR IS CHEAP. TANS CAN BE BEAUTIFUL IF DONE IN MODERATION OR AT A PROFESSIONAL SALON.

I HAVE NO PROBLEM AS ALONG AS IT LOOKS HEALTHY.

PARIS LOOKS GREAT

Why do white people want orange skin?

too white does not look good

Why do white people want orange skin?

They aren't aiming for orange, they are aiming for tan, brown, bronze...all the shades that us ethnic people model so flawlessly.

The orange is just a nasty curse they get for trying to F#@k with nature and be something they are not.

White people are creatures of trend for the most part and as such, they want to be and have anything that is currently seen as most desirable. ie: ethnic women, like the Brazilians found in Victorias Secret catalogs. They are often mistaken as being "white", but with a beautiful, natural bronze complexion that actual white people mistaken think they can achieve.

Just relax, next year when Nicole Kidman comes back in style, white women will be wearing sunblock again.

a golden tan skin looks heathy

Why do white people want orange skin?

I heard......... a long time ago, rich white people went on vacation and got tanned just to show off. So tanned skin means rich.

They don't want to look good. They just want to look rich.

Why do white people want orange skin?

I agree... although most people don't actually go for orange. They just want a darker healtier looking color I guess. Although I do understand tanners because sometimes I feel like i lok so pale that I look sick and scary!

Why do white people want orange skin?

Michael did not bleach his skin he has a disease called Vitiligo that makes his skin lose pigment!

Why do white people want orange skin?

We were discussing this in my AP Euro class this past year. The historical answer is the fact that during the 1920's when the stock market went up and people began to gain money, they needed new ways to spend it. They would go on expensive vacations and return with these deep dark tans. Soon a tan became a way of determining wealth. If you were rich, you were also tan.

Personally, I do not believe I look good tan. I have blonde hair and I am pale. I have fake baked before only to find that I look better pale. Even if I did look better tan, I still would not go tan. The risk of skin cancer, melenoma and skin aging is too high for me. I personally want to be around to see my kids grow up. But I do know that tanning makes your metabolism increase so it helps you lose weight. It also helps your skin clear up. So I guess if your over-weight and have acne, tanning can help...but only if you don't want to live a long healthy life. lol

Why do white people want orange skin?

who said that white people want orange skin? I never heard for that.
