(Hair bleach) Honestly, does time really effect the results it leaves in your hair?

No matter how much damage it does to your hair, does following directions on a hair bleach product REALLY give you the results you want if your color desire is platinum white blond hair and you have black hair?

Example #1: Kelly had black hair and wanted platinum white blond hair, so Kelly bleached it, it said to leave the bleach on no longer then 45 minutes, Kelly went ahead and followed directions, 45 minutes passed by and her hair wasn't platinum white blond, but still she washed it off, her result was orange hair. (EEEEK!)

Example #2: Ashley had black hair and wanted platinum white blond hair, so she bleached it, it said to leave the bleach on no longer than 45 minutes, Ashley realized that even after 45 minutes, her hair wasn't platinum white blond, it was orange, so she left the bleach longer until her hair turned platinum white blond, even though her hair was a bit ****** up, it looked amazing!

What do you guys think? Does time really effect the results?

bleahc kills your hair if you use it alot. if youve never died your hair or havent died it much then ok, but afterwards make sure u put in a deep nourishment conitioner cos ur hair will be really brittle, otherwise get a hairdresser to do it, cos if they stuff it up its their fault and they can always fix it.
