Hey!!

They sure can! But when I got actual "weaves" where they are braided in, I had a hard time. I have naturally oily hair and had to wash my hair more frequently then people with ethnic hair. I also found that my braids began to slip too. Could be from my hair not being the right texture or the stylist not weaving them tightly enough!!!

On America's Next Top Model, you can see that white girls are getting weaves too!! You first braid the real hair than sew the fake hair in. It's a long, painful process.
